How does she feel generally? A fever? If she's not unwell, I'd say it's just a localized reaction. Easy to say when it's not my own kid. If it was one of my girls I'd be saying the same thing to myself but still be thinking, "What if we wake up tomorrow and it has spread down her whole arm? What if it's cellulitis?" Sharon
OK, I've just spoken to John. He says draw a line around it with pen and then you'll be able to see if it's spreading or receding and how quickly. If it's itchy Piriton will help.
Funny, before I read everyone's comments I was going to suggest drawing a line around it...same thing happened to Jack. His skin was hard & hot and I was pretty worried but the doctor said if he felt well & it didn't spread outside the circle, he'd be fine. Hope she's feeling better! Dana
Sounds like you're getting good advice all 'round. If she's not lethargic, she's eating and she's doing everything she usually does, don't worry. I'm sure Mae will let you know when to worry. Take care all, love, Joanne
