work work work

Well, I am working tomorrow, but that still only makes it four days next week- do I have any right to complain? And I will get paid double overtime. Not really.

Nice day here today but we took it easy- we just had to go out and get shoes. Here is the reason why....

I killed the cat

No, I didn't- that's a song from the Sex Pistols, I think- BUT I AM GOING TO!! That Rumpole has been meowing since we got home and kept me up all last night. As Geoff can tell you I don't do well with lack of sleep. Okay, okay, maybe he's missing Mungo but really- he may be seeing his brother sooner than he thinks!!!

PS- If anyone out there is now calling the RSPCA and flagging this blog- I am only JOKING!!!!

Our favourite bits...

This is a quick blog as we are still recovering, although Mae was fab on the plane- conked out at the gate in Halifax and woke up at the gate in Glasgow (she rocks my world, that kid), but last night was not wonderful and I feel like a new, very tired parent now so this may make little sense. So just a few pics-

Geoff's favourite bit (beaches)

Mae's favourite bit (firestations)

My favourite (family, even the wacky ones)
Although seeing friends, like Joanne, Amy and Luke (they are a pair, two-for-one deal) and Nat was great too!

I know, I know

It's been ages since the last blog, we've been in Nova Scotia for two weeks now, no pics, no nothing. But what is a holiday if not flat out seeing-all-the-family-and-all-local-friends-as-soon-as-possible? No time to blog!
We've had a great time so far, though, apart from sitting next to a very sick (cough splutter) woman on the plane, so Geoff and I have been snotbags until now. But we have been to the beach, had a big family get together, hung out with mom and Andrew, visited old friends and Mae has had a personal tour of a firehall, courtesy of fireman Luke, her new favorite person, and sat on a yellow school bus, a lifelong dream.
So more soon, and keep watching!!!
Love Jen
